THE Cowes floating bridge was out of action for four hours on Saturday after running aground in low tide.
The vessel was unable to leave the East Cowes slipway due to the low tide and was stranded from 4.30pm to 8.30pm.
A separate foot passenger launch was run while the floating bridge was out of action.
