FLOODING in Havenstreet is causing problems for commuters this morning (Monday), with Main Road more than 1ft under water.
It has been a busy weekend for the Isle of Wight Council’s highways staff, who also dealt with minor flooding in Wootton and Newport.
There was a small landslide at South Grove Terrace, Ventnor, yesterday (Sunday) morning, and fences at St Margaret’s Primary School, also in Ventnor, were brought down in strong winds.
Trees were brought down at Niton Road, Rookley and Pamona Road, Shanklin.
