THE dream may be over for another four years, but an Isle of Wight brewery might have the answer for any England supporters looking to drown their sorrows.
Meanwhile in Brazil, where England are preparing for their final game of the tournament — against Costa Rica tonight Tuesday) — a group of Islanders have been enjoying the World Cup spirit, if not the football.
Tim Ashwell, Matt Bartlett , Nick Bohn and Steve Long were at the match against Uruguay (as pictured below) and will be at Estádio Mineirão in Belo Horizonte for tonight's game.
