A MAN from West Sussex was charged last night (Thursday) in connection with the robbery at Benzie jewellers last Friday.
Oliver John Mazirel, 21, of Ivydore Avenue, Worthing, was charged with robbery and possessing an imitation firearm.
He was remanded in custody to appear before Isle of Wight Magistrates Court today (Friday).
A 23-year-old woman, of Worthing, West Sussex, was released on police bail until September pending further inquiries.
