A FRESHWATER man has been charged with burglary, following a raid at Brighstone business Island Gems, on December 2.
The business, based at IW Pearl, on the Military Road, sells fossils, ammonites and amber jewellery.
Matthew Christopher Doyle, 30, has been charged with burglary and bailed to appear before Island magistrates on Friday.
The charge follows an investigation by officers from IW CID, the dog support unit, targeted patrol and scenes of crime teams.
