A FRESHWATER man accused of stealing items worth £3,000 from Brighstone business Island Gems has appeared before Island magistrates.
Matthew Christopher Doyle, 30, of New Village, pleaded not guilty to burgling the Military Road premises on December 2.
Island Gems, based at IW Pearl, sells fossils, ammonites and amber jewellery.
Doyle was bailed by magistrates to reappear at court on February 12.
