A MAN was rescued by firefighters yesterday (Saturday) after becoming stuck in mud at Island Harbour.
Three fire engines, including one fitted with specialist rescue equipment, attended the Binfield harbour shortly after 1pm.
Crews used a line to free the man, who was trapped waist-deep in the mud just off a pontoon.
He was checked over at the scene by paramedics.
