SUTTON UNITED 1 - DULWICH HAMLET 1.

FOOTBALL: Dulwich followed up a midweek 4-0 defeat at Boreham Wood with a much-improved performance to dent Sut-ton United's champion-ship hopes on Saturday.

The game was held at Gander Green Lane where a blustery wind distracted Dulwich sufficiently to leave them goal down after three minutes.

Nevertheless, Dulwich came back well and nearly snatched three points late on when Richard Thomp-son blazed a trail wide with just the keeper to beat.

Andy Salako (brother of ex-Eagle John) gave Sutton the lead when he rifled a low shot past Darren Williams. But Dulwich responded through Jamie Ndah. From then on there was no rampant display from the Division One leaders.
