The London Kiwis star will play at full back for Holland when they run out at Huddersfield's McAlpine Stadium.

The 25-year-old said: "I never thought this would happen and it is a dream come true. Realistically, we have no chance of beating England, but what an experience."

Ironically, Webber cannot play in his usual position for the Kiwis, based in Enfield, because of the form of 18-year-old star Rhys Bennett.

Bennett, also gearing up to be an international star with Wales Under-19s, was in cracking form again this Saturday as the Kiwis beat Old Albanians, from London League division two, 43-30, scoring 18 points with his boot.

But Webber, who played rugby in New Zealand for provincial side Waikato, has already made his mark on the international stage, having qualified to play for the Dutch on his mother's side. He

scored a try in their warm-up game against Croatia, a match the Dutch won 29-7.

Holland are ranked 22 in the world and qualified through a tough group containing the likes of Romania, Bulgaria, Poland and the Ukraine to earn the right to play England in their own back yard. The arrival of Geoff Old, the former All Black No 8, as head coach has certainly helped them rise towards the top and playing sides like England will only help them further.

Webber said: "Geoff is a very good coach and listens to the players as well as giving out his own ideas. It is working very well."

Also in good form for the Kiwis on Saturday was No 8 Geoff Davies. For a time he took on the Albanians single-handed.

The signing of Darren Reid, Fred Gudeika and Ryan Curthers has added further strength to the Kiwis up front and now they are looking a very dangerous side.

Manager Wayner Simeon said: "We now have the power, strength and vision to provide the balance that we had been lacking until now."
