A MAN armed with a knife in Lake, was tasared after he threatened Isle of Wight police yesterday afternoon (Thursday)
The incident began at 4.53pm when police were called to an address in Sandown Road, according to a police spokeswoman.
When officers arrived, they were threatened by a 40-year-old drunk man armed with a knife.
The man barricaded himself in the address and continued to threaten officers.
Negotiators were called and after an hour the man came out, but officers remained concerned about his behaviour and he was tasered.
