A 41-YEAR-old farmworker accused of threatening to shoot his elder daughter with a shotgun was remanded in custody by Island magistrates.
Jeffrey John Winter, of Newport Road, Yarmouth, indicated a guilty plea to possession of a firearm with intent to cause his 18-year-old daughter, Kelly, to believe unlawful violence would be used.
Armed police were called to the address on Tuesday to a report of a man with a gun.
Winter was today (Thursday) remanded in custody until December 21 by Island magistrates to appear in the crown court.
No bail application was made.
