TEENAGER Oliver Tatton pulled on his trainers and raised more than £400 for the Isle of Wight branch of the RSPCA.
Ollie, accompanied part of the way by his sister, Jess, and their four dogs, ran from Alum Bay to Seaview — around 25 miles.
He took just six hours to do the run, including short stops to change dogs.
The pair were supported by their mum, Louise, her partner, Buster Spicer, friend Cathy Humphries and her son, Stephen.
"We had some very tired young people and dogs at home and a very proud mum," said Louise.
The fundraiser followed on the heels of Ollie’s sponsored run last year when he ran from Cowes to Ventnor, raising £320 for Breast Cancer Awareness. Ollie, 17, attends Brockenhurst College where he is studying A-level biology, maths and physics. He hopes to go to university next year to read zoology.
Jess, 14, attends Medina High School and they are both members of the Wight Wizards Agility and Flyball Club and train on a Monday night with their dogs, under the guidance of Cathy, who runs it.
Ollie competes regularly in national agility competitions and is also a member of the national rescue dog agility display team, taking part earlier this year in the Ultimate Pet Show at Birmingham’s NEC.
The teenagers also own a horse, Charisma, and compete in jumping and dressage competitions on the Island.
