A MEMORIAL for Isle of Wight youngster Kiri-Jade Hodgkinson was held on Saturday.
The Sandown teenager was one of two people killed following a crash at Mersley Down on January 2.
The 14-year-old, of Queens Road, was the front seat passenger in a Renault Clio being driven by an 18 year old, when it collided with a Renault Megane, being driven by a 67-year-old man whose wife, Barbara Ann Ford also 67, of Brading, died in hospital.
The 18 year old suffered life-threatening injuries and was airlifted to Southampton General Hospital, along with a 13-year-old girl who was also in the car and suffered serious injuries.
Friends and relatives of Kiri-Jade gathered at Sandown beach, near the Driftwood beach bar, where they released balloons, lit candles and released Chinese lanterns.
