Controversial proposals to close Edgware Hospital's Urgent Treatment Centre (UTC) will come under the spotlight next month.
Barnet Primary Care Trust, which runs the hospital, wants to close the UTC between 10pm and 7am. It says patient numbers, which have dwindled to just ten every night, do not justify keeping it open.
Also up for discussion at the scrutiny committee meeting will be plans by Barnet, Enfield and Haringey Mental Health Trust to return psychiatric services to Barnet Hospital.
If you have any comments on either proposal write to Rob Mills, Scrutiny Officer, Barnet Council, Town Hall, The Burroughs, London, NW4 4BG, before February 5. The meeting begins at 7.30pm on February 6 at Hendon Town Hall.
