AFTER the freeze the Isle of Wight has been warned of fog.

The Met Office has issued a yellow warning - moderate risk - of fog forming late tonight (Sunday) and lasting, possibly, until 10.30am tomorrow.

It says there is the potential for cross-Solent travel disruption and, if temperatures dip, for it to freeze.

The warning states: "As the cold airmass across much of the south of England moistens up, there will be a much greater risk of fog than on recent nights.

"Areas of cloud trying to advance from the west will add to the uncertainty in extent of fog later in the night and through Monday morning."
