AN ISLE of Wight restaurant has retained its Michelin star.

The Hambrough in Ventnor, run by chef/proprietor Robert Thompson, has been recognised by the prestigious guide's latest edition.

Mr Thompson said: "I am delighted to have retained a Michelin star for a fourth year, it's a real boost for everyone involved.

"Thank you to our valued guests, who made it possible."
