Minute's silence for PC Fiona Bone

By Jamie White

Thursday, October 4, 2012

POLICE officers and staff across Hampshire and the Isle of Wight paid tribute to police officer Fiona Bone today (Thursday).

Officers gathered outside police stations across the region at 10am to observe a minute's silence in memory of PC Bone, who was killed in the line of duty last month.

The tribute followed yesterday's minute's silence held for PC Nicola Hughes who was killed in the same incident in Manchester.

Police flags have been flown at half mast.
