It was a very happy Valentine's Day at the Isle of Wight Monkey Haven, after it won a VisitEngland Gold Award.
THE Isle of Wight Monkey Haven has won a VisitEngland Gold award, considered one of the most prestigious accolades in the industry.
Monkey Haven founder Don wasler said: "What a fantastic start to the 2017 season.
"We’re so grateful to our amazing staff, volunteers, visitors and supporters. Together, we’ve been caring for animals in crisis since 2008 and that’s what gives us the greatest pleasure of all."
Last month the Monkey Haven won gold at the Beautiful South Awards for 2016/17 and the rescue centre has also topped TripAdvisor’s things to do on the Isle of Wight list for the past two years.
