MORE wet weather is set to hit the Isle of Wight and the Met Office have issued a weather warning for heavy rain tomorrow (Wednesday).

The 'be aware' warning is in place from 12.15am to 9pm.

The Met Office said: "Further rain at times on Wednesday may be locally persistent.

"The public should be aware of the risk of localised flooding, especially in areas where there are ongoing concerns."

A flood warning is in place for Langbridge and Alverstone on the Eastern Yar. There is also a flood alert for tributaries from Whitwell to Bembridge on the Eastern Yar.
