A MOTORCYLIST was taken to hospital after a collision between a motorcycle and a van this morning (Thursday).
It is believed it was a head-on collision, which occurred at about 8am near Upper Dolcoppice Farm, near Godshill.
Police said they believed the crash, between a white Citroen Relay van and a Honda motorcycle, occurred on a private road. Dolcoppice Lane was closed.
*The motorcyclist has been flown to the neurological unit at Southampton General Hospital.
