MURDER suspects in the case of missing teenager Damien Nettles face more questions after being re-bailed by police yesterday (Wednesday).
The 35-year-old woman from Cowes had her bail extended to March 7 pending further enquiries by the major crime unit.
A 44-year-old man, also due to answer bail yesterday, was unable to and a new bail date will be arranged. A decision had already been made before yesterday his bail would also be extended to March 7.
The pair were arrested in November, when police investigating the 1996 disappearance of Damien, aged 16 at the time, searched a property in Marsh Road, Gurnard, linked with one of the two suspects.
Five other people, arrested in May 2011 on suspicion of murdering the teenager, are due to answer bail next Wednesday. Their arrests were not linked to those of the Cowes pair according to police.
