MUSIC legend Kiki Dee will be the star guest at this year’s Isle of Wight Chamber of Commerce business awards for excellence.

Having sang backing for Dusty Springfield, a hit duet with Elton John, Don’t go Breaking My Heart, and making her solo breakthrough with her recording of Amoureuse, Kiki is still in demand on tour.

Zoe Stroud, the chamber’s group marketing manager, said that they are so proud that Kiki, who appeared in the hit musical Blood Brothers in the late 1980s, will be with them at what always is a very special event.

The evening is to be held at Cowes Yacht Haven of Friday November 23 where awards will be hosted by BBC South Today presenter and journalist Sally Taylor.

Anyone who wishes to purchase tickets or wants more information should contact chamber@iwchamber.co.uk.
