PEOPLE have until the end of the month to have their say on the future of the Isle of Wight's music service.
An Isle of Wight Council consultation on the service runs until September 30 over plans for how it will operate in the future, following government changes to the way funding is administered and a cut in how much is provided.
A spokesman said: "The consultation, is based around how the service can continue to provide the most comprehensive and cost effective service to residents against this backdrop of this reduced funding.
"Specifically, the consultation is seeking the views on three different models under which the service could operate.
"At the same time, the council is also canvassing the views of other local authorities who are also restructuring – or have restructured - their service in the light of the national changes."
People can access the music service consultation by going to the council's website www.iwight.com and clicking on the consultations tab on the homepage.
