BORN survivor Taz Parker escaped a 150ft fall from the Island’s Culver Cliffs with his life.

Fifteen-year-old Taz plunged headlong over the sheer drop at Culver, suffering just a broken wrist, cuts needing seven stitches and bruises all over his body.

It was the second time he had survived a potential death fall. At the age of just two-and-a-half his father caught him as he plunged from his bedroom window like his cartoon hero Buzz Lightyear.

The Sandown High School student, who wants to be a Royal Marine, had been fooling with friends and scaled a fence at Culver to show-off. He misjudged the slope leading to the vertical drop and went over the edge.

"I tried to grab hold of something, anything, as I slid towards the drop, but I couldn’t stop myself going over and I was convinced I was going to die," he said.
