A young people's theatre group is stepping up the tempo as it gets ready for its musical production of Little Shop of Horrors in Radlett.

The cast of Traffic Light Productions, aged 18 upwards, are fine-tuning their performances at dress rehearsals, ready for their shows at The Radlett Centre, in Aldenham Avenue, next Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, at 7.30pm.

Producer Sadie-Jane Parsons promised a vibrant production, which stars Oliver Walker as Seymour and Hanna Johnson as Audrey the two main characters who are hopelessly in love and see no way out of their troubled lives on Skid Row until Seymour discovers a strange plant.

Sadie said: "It is great fun and a really funky, soul musical, which is suitable for young children upwards.

"There is lots of dancing, special effects, bright, glittery costumes, as well as a singing and jiving huge plant."

Any couples attending the Valentines Day performance, on Thursday, can take part in a competition for a bottle of champagne and chocolates, by leaving their names at the centre's box office on arrival.
