I have lived in Twickenham for more than 50 years.
Twickenham is made up of restaurants where food from all over the world are served, so we don't need another by the river.
Also in Twickenham are estate agents, empty offices - some have been empty for years - so many charity shops that some are finding it hard to keep going.
Hundreds pack the streets when the rugby match days.
Children are put at risk every summer because of the river.
We need an indoor flash swimming pool, a place for all ages to visit - the ice rink was taken for flats that benefit the few.
For the first time I can remember, Twickenham had Christmas lights besides Church Street, it was great.
Thanks to whoever made a start to put Twickers on the map. Keep it going for the year 2000.
A POTTS
