Pupils of Hatch End High School were celebrating the completion of Harrow's millennium dome on Friday afternoon.
They decorated the eight-foot geodesic tent with the help of artist Ricki Outis. It will be at the Heritage Centre before touring parks as a workshop for costumes and giant figures for various events.
Work on the first giant, for May Day, will be going on at the centre in North Harrow on April 17, 19, 22 and 25 and the public is invited to help.
