FERRY company Red Funnel has announced a revised timetable for Isle of Wight services in July due to major events including the Olympic Torch Relay.
Next Tuesday, cruiseline P&O is holding a Grand Event, with seven ships leaving Southampton, which has led to the cancellation of the 5pm Southampton car ferry and 6.30pm car ferry from East Cowes.
Foot passengers will be able to use their tickets on the Red Jet, which is unaffected.
On Saturday, July 14, the Olympic Torch will travel on the 4.30pm sailing from East Cowes to Southampton and the 4.45pm Red Jet will not arrive in Southampton until 5.30pm.
The 5.15pm Red Jet from Southampton and the 5.45pm sailing from Cowes have been cancelled.
A revised timetable for the afternoon will be as follows:
Departing Southampton — 3.45pm, 4.15pm, 4.45pm, 5.45pm, 6.15pm.
Departing West Cowes - 4.15pm, 4.45pm (crossing time of 45 minutes), 5.15pm, 6.15pm, 6.45pm.
