Palace's ice man Hermann Hreidarsson rightly earned all the praise for his superb performance against Arsenal at Highbury but the talented young Icelandic international has been outstanding for Palace all season.

His efforts on Sunday won him the man of the match award where his superb shackling of Dennis Bergkamp clearly riled the Dutchman. Boss Steve Coppell has been delighted with his bargain buy: "He has consistently been the one outstanding player and has come through from nowhere. He has adapted to life in the Premiership and London very, very well."
