OUTDOOR concerts by Tom Jones and Steps are still due to go ahead despite recent bad weather and more rain forecast to come.
The concerts are due to be held at Osborne House on July 28 and 29, but concerns had been raised about whether they would go ahead after a Blue Peter event, due to take place at Osborne this Saturday, was cancelled due to waterlogged ground.
Concert organisers Solo, which were also behind this year’s rain hit Isle of Wight Festival, told the Isle of Wight County Press this week however, that the gigs were still due to go ahead as planned.

Too much money at stake I guess. Wonder what suitable infrastructure will be put in place then? surely the won't allow a repeat of the chaos at the festival.... will they??
