A THREE-DAY Oxjam music festival kicks off at Coburgs in Ryde tonight (Thursday).

The event is the latest on the Isle of Wight to raise cash for the charity Oxfam and brings together a line-up of some of the Island’s best bands and DJs.

Tonight will be headlined by Gweido, with sets by other artists including Claydon Connor, Wild Oats, Cherishport and Blackhouse Crow.

Tomorrow will see The Shutes, Yours and Mine, Sky Sphere, Cozy Flashbak and The Vecks perform.

The festival closes on Saturday with an Oxjam disco featuring DJs Jakey Chan and Wills of Steel.

There will be food and merchandise stalls and money raised will go to Oxfam. Entry is free.
