Patient airlifted to mainland

A PATIENT was flown to Queen Alexandra Hospital, Portsmouth, by the Hampshire and Isle of Wight Air Ambulance today (Friday).

The air ambulance landed at Ryde Academy at around 1pm to transfer the patient who had been taken unwell and required treatment on the mainland.
