That prophecy has earned Robert Mumford of Malden Manor Primary School a new de luxe computer - donated by Kingston Rotary Club as first prize in a competition organised by Kingston Museum to encourage children to use their new e-mail facilities.
Entrants had to find the competition on the museum's website, and e-mail back the answers to 10 historical questions. As a tie-breaker, the children were asked to describe their view of Kingston in the year 3000. Robert received his prize from the president of Kingston Rotary Club, Terry Medcale, during a civic reception at Kingston Guildhall.
