Richmond's deputy Mayor Bill Treble cut the ribbon to officially open the fayre and then joined the stallholders as they sought shelter from the rain under their umbrellas.
Funds raised by the fayre will go towards the upkeep of the Home, which cares for disabled ex-servicemen and women.
