A couple from Swanley are grieving after their stillborn baby's body was thrown out of a linen basket at a Sidcup hospital - and ended up in in a laundry wash in Brixton.
James Fernandez died shortly after being born 17 weeks premature at Queen Mary's Hospital.
His corpse later went missing from the hospital mortuary and turned up on a laundry conveyor belt at an industrial cleaning firm in Brixton. The baby's dead body had been through a 95 degree wash and almost every bone was broken.
Hospital chiefs have called it a "tragic accident" and have carried out an inquiry.
