POLICE have released a photograph of the man killed in a crash on the Isle of Wight on Friday.
Gerald Albert Webb, 82, was killed in a collision involving a Ford Courier van in Copse Lane, Freshwater, at around 7pm.
The driver of the van, a 75 year old from Freshwater, has been arrested on suspicion of causing death by careless driving and bailed by police until January 10, 2013.
Mr Webb served in the Royal Air Force and was a retired primary school teacher.
