The poster created by the Garlic Farm to welcome trick or treaters.
FANS of Hallowe'en will be able to let trick or treaters know they are welcome to stop at their house thanks to a poster created by an Isle of Wight business.
The Garlic Farm has created a poster, available to download from its website, which people will be able to put up in their windows.
Colin Boswell, owner of The Garlic Farm, said: "We love Halloween and we always go to town celebrating the event at the farm. Having said that, we understand that it’s not everyone’s cup of tea. We think that this opt-in trick or treating initiative will help parents and children know which houses to approach and which to avoid."
The police have issued a poster for people who do not want to be visited by trick or treaters, which is available here.

Thankfully it was heavy rain, with thunder & lightning this evening, which stopped the little beggars harassing locals around my way like they do every year chucking eggs and flour and smashing things in gardens. Never mind, soon be firework night for them to try again.
