I totally agree with you Simon. I am all for making the world a less polluted place. However carbon dioxide is not a pollutant. The two are entirely separate issues.
Probably a good place to end our discussion don't you think?

Sigh.... I hope i'm wrong, I really do. If I am wrong about it, at worst we make the Earth a cleaner, less polluted place for future generations. If I am right, and we do something about it, we avert catastrophic damage.

Carbon dioxide continues to increase. Global temperature has not increased since 1998. 5 years to save the Planet. spouted by Tony Blair.more than ten years ago. I don't think so.

Their Chief Science Advisor is paid by The Heartland Institute, which in turn in funded by ExxonMobil and the Koch brothers who are hardly impartial.
