AROUND 2,000 people in Binstead and Ryde were without power this afternoon (Monday), following a fault on the line.
Scottish and Southern Electricity Network (SSEN) customers lost their power after a fuse blew at 2.12pm, though engineers had everything back up and running in less than an hour.
A spokesperson from company said: "SSEN would like to apologise for any inconvenience this interruption caused and thanks its customers for their patience while it worked to safely restore their supply."
