MORE than 1,000 homes were without power this lunchtime (Tuesday).
A fault in an underground cable cut supply to houses centring on the Grove Road, Willow Close and Trinity Road areas of the Ventnor at 11.55am.
A Southern Electric spokesman said power was restored in stages and all households had electricity back by 1.15pm.
