A POWER cut in Southampton has led to the suspension of some Isle of Wight ferry services tonight (Wednesday).

Red Funnel said it was unable to load or discharge in Southampton as a result of the power cut and had suspended the vehicle ferry service.
"All efforts are being made to rectify the issue with the energy supplier, we will update you as soon as possible. Delays expected for approximately one hour," the firm said on its website.
*Shortly before 10pm the company said services had resumed.
