Irish eyes were smiling when Teddington-based Sonia O'Sullivan returned from the European Championships with two gold medals.
The Thames Hare and Hounds athlete, who trains at Kingsmeadow track in Kingston, won both the 10,000 and 5,000 metre titles.
Sonia, who has spent the past two years in the wilderness due to lack of form, looked unbeatable to the opposition on the day.
