Public toilets closed after vandalism

A PUBLIC toilet in Newport had to be closed by the Isle of Wight Council this morning (Tuesday), because of vandalism.

A council spokesman said they hoped to re-open the men's toilets in Post Office Lane by this afternoon.

*The toilets re-opened at about 1.30pm according to the Isle of Wight Council.
