Saints succeed
St Albans 14 Mill Hill 11
St Albans kicked off with a wind blowing across the pitch and rain sheeting down going into an early 6-0 lead before a penalty goal from full back Paul Dacey on 28 minutes got Mill Hill off the mark.
The visitors conceded possession again soon after to alow the home side in for a try.
Paul Dacey used the wind to score with a penalty minutes into the second half and this gave heart to their forwards who started to win some very good second phase ball for their backs, so much so that Green went in for a deserved second try to level the scores.
With eight minutes to go, Mill Hill conceded another penalty and the kick, directly in front of the posts, was a formality.
