QI star Alan Davies will open this year's Isle of Arts.
Organisers of the Isle of Wight event announced this morning (Wednesday) that the comedian, QI favourite and star of Jonathan Creek, will perform this year's Isle of Arts Festival.
He will perform a stand up set in the festival marquee on Saturday, April 20.
Gillian Jenner, of Isle of Arts, said: "Alan’s acute brand of surreal observational story telling has arrived to much acclaim.
"The tour that started at the Edinburgh Fringe last year has been honed, refined and perfected in places such as the Sydney Opera House, Auckland Town Hall and London's Hackney Empire. And now we’ve got him in Ventnor!"
Organisers also confirmed that ska band The Skatonics, have joined the bill for the event, which runs from April 19 to April 21.
Austentatious: An Improvised Novel, a comedy drama in the style of Jane Austen and based on audience suggestion will also feature.
