Poets from around the world have been invited to attend an awards ceremony at the Questors Theatre on Friday.
The ceremony is to honour poets who contributed to the Pitshanger Poets millennium anthology, which is available from Pitshanger bookshop in Pitshanger Lane.
More than 350 entries flooded in from places as far afield as Greece and St Lucia and local writers also put pen to paper to express their feelings about life in Ealing.
Friday's ceremony at the theatre in Mattock Lane, W5 will launch the book as honour those 30 poets whose work is included in it.
