TWO Isle of Wight residents have been honoured for their service to the community in the Queen's Birthday Honours.
Dr Mark Denman-Johnson, chief executive of Lighthouse Medical Ltd, the company behind the St Mary's Hospital Beacon Centre, has been made an MBE for services to primary care.
Anthony Roberts, formerly a plastic surgeon at the Stoke Mandeville Hospital burns unit, has been awarded an OBE for services to the medical field, ornithology and the community.
