Rain warning

UPDATED THURSDAY 11:29

A RAIN warning for the Isle of Wight on Friday has been updated by the Met Office.

The yellow 'be aware' warning is now valid from 12.05am to noon on Friday, it was previously in force for all of Friday.

The Met Office said: "Another spell of rain will spread to parts of Wales and southern England on Friday morning. The rain may turn to snow at times over hills.

"The public should be aware that further localised flooding and disruption to travel is possible."
