STAFF at the Isle of Wight College Cookery School are celebrating after beating competition from across the country, including Rick Stein’s Padstow Seafood School, to win a Best Cookery School Award.
The accolade was presented to the Isle of Wight College team at Tuesday's British Cookery School Awards, held at the Vintner’s Company in London and hosted by BBC Radio 2’s food and drink presenter, Nigel Barden.
Malcolm Alder-Smith, customer liaison officer for the Cookery School at the Isle of Wight College said: "Years of hard work have gone into the school to get it where it is today."
