A 41-YEAR-OLD woman was indecently assaulted in Finsbury Park after going to the aid of someone she thought was in need.

The good Samaritan was walking her dog in Cavendish Road last Monday night when she came across a man lying on the pavement.

She helped him up and offered to take him back to his home.

It was when they got into Wightman Road that he assaulted her.

The attacker was described as white with short greying hair. He wearing thick, black-rimmed glasses, a grey fleece and blue jeans. The victim told the police he resembled Woody Allen.

Police wish to warn the public that if they see anyone who appears to be injured or in distress to call the emergency services for help and not deal with the matter alone.
